VAL, an acronym for Virtual Assistant Leader, was created by Linda Watson, a former Girl Scout, Cub Scout, and youth group leader, who also had a Masters Degree in Education.
VAL intends to be a resource for all youth leaders by providing VAL Guides that contain all the information, directions, and hand-outs for fun and educational meetings. Fun has to be part of equation, because while children want to earn, they also want to have fun.
VAL Activity Sheets contain all the information for one activity or meeting. These sheets are migrating to this site from our For Kids Naturely site.
VAL is also a forum where you can discuss with other youth leaders ways to keep your members active and interested in learning and earning badges that will enable them to become productive members of their community.
Hopefully, the discussions that take place on this blog will benefit all youth leaders no matter what organization you work with or where you live.
